I almost didn't publish this comic because - what do dinosaurs have to do with modern life? Then I convinced myself that dinosaurs remind people that a catastrophe can end life on Earth like that. (snaps) Life is precious, so seize the day! To me, this comic warns not to ignore the perils clearly visible all around us. Instead, we might want to hedge our bets. Like how Elon Musk (CEO of SpaceX) talks about creating an outpost on Mars. Earth is awesome and it's great to be here, but if we want humanity to survive, then we should colonize Mars. Not that everybody on Earth should relocate, but just to have maybe a million people on Mars. You know, in case of a rogue comet, or some other planetwide disaster. It's like backing up the hard drive on your computer. But replace your computer with human evolution. Anyway... Might be a good idea. In fact, there are some people I'd really like to send to Mars. Do you know of anyone you'd like to send to a planet far away? :)
