Jerry the Intern is my new favorite character in howtosuckatlife, because he came out of nowhere with the idea of 'I don't suck, I follow'. I was literally just updating the follow button bar, and I wanted to announce it over the loudspeaker from middle school. But then I realized I'm not in middle school anymore. And there's no software equivalent of the morning loudspeaker. Yet! Would that be a cool app idea? You could write a little software on your phone to take the headlines of the day, you know scrape them from some news service like the Wall Street Journal and read them out in the style of the classic middle-school morning loudspeaker announcements. Somebody's gotta make that happen. But it won't be me! Anyway, back to Jerry. I was making some new follow buttons, and then along comes Jerry. That little dude with all the good ideas. Jerry might seem a little young for an intern, I mean he looks and dresses like an infant, but he is actually a 22-year-old college graduate. Jerry has a great idea for how to get people to follow howtosuck on social media... by not sucking. Love it. I don't suck, I follow. That's our new slogan for followers. So simple, yet so powerful! Yeah, so that's our new thing. Anyway, howtosuckatlife is just starting out. It is literally our third month, and the first month was just me figuring out how to code a website. We've been publishing comics here techincally since February, but more like mid-March, 2016. Since that's when I got back from a trip and started trying to post a new webcomic everyday. Like everybody who is just starting, we have some growing pains. One thing is, we really need to get eyeballs on HTSAL. Therefore we are now actively seeking followers on facebook. No bots, please. Real people who enjoy howtosuckatlife are always welcome. Or real people who hate howtosuckatlife. I'm fine either way. Just as long as you are totally engaged.
