Fresh Air was inspired by an actual conversation with my girlfriend. I anticipate this will be a good source for many, many comics. Sometimes a conversation is not perfect, so you have to change it a little. But I think this one was verbatim, word for word. As a comic maker, you've gotta write these things down. Being a cartoonist is like being an archaeologist of your own conversations. Hey, that gives me an idea. What if you have an Indiana Jones character using his whip on a dialog balloon? Then 'Indy' uses the dialog to... do something hilarious. I'll have to work that one out later. Anyway, I kind of like these character designs. What do you think? It's nice to see cute characters on your computer, reminding you to get outside more.
